and how fitting [for other reasons] ~ it was playing, as I was meandering through a store I love called The Gypsy Palace. I asked the owner ~ a very gypsy-like woman ~ 'who' it was and she explained it all. For a minute, before that came to me, I was thinking, "Well, it must have been Lightning then."

Anouar Brahem - 'le pas du chat noir' is wonderful. It's quite soothing. I like also Astor Piazzola if you are into tango, but you have probably heard of him a bit where you are?
