Much better than that awful I'm Your Man cd. Teddy Thompson is not his father and should find a different way of passing the time. I've seen Teddy in concert as well doing what I imagine to be his own material. Not worth the price of the concert ticket. Thank goodness he was only supporting Al Stewart.
Still back to the point buy Jordi's new cd.

A lot has happened. I've broken my arm, become a grandfather, one of my children has married and another will next year. I absolutely idolise my grandson. He is a gift from heaven. If you don't believe in maracles then look at the next baby you see.

Anyway, this record is after all a remembrance of such wonderful evenings when I've been singing Cohen songs through the years. Now, most of them recorded with a great band and some others in an acoustic level. It all started to take shape more seriously when we did our party for Leonard's 70th birthday in Barcelona. There we formed a very nice group of Spanish fans whom we meet regularly to talk and discuss LC topics and other matters... Thanks for their support in this project and all the people that I've met here in this Forum as well. And thank you Jarkko once again for your dedication.

I know very well this disc and I like much, well I cannot be level-headed, but I am sure that it is a very good disc.
It is a very long work that should have begun when Jorcx remained captivated by the Cohen's work. It is the fruit of the passion, of the love, that we share for Leonard. Jordi has got to realize something so beautiful as this disc.
It is not easy to adapt Cohen, but Jorcx knows deeply all the Cohen's work and the result is exceptional. The interpretation is faithful. It cannot bother to the puritans of Leonard.
The diction is clear, the poetry is listened by absolute brightness and the music is in the appropriate level. There is no stridency. The protagonist is in the story, the environment, the mystery; it is the Cohen's music. "Exquisite music".
My small daughter plays with her guitar "Famous Blue Raincoat", this makes me very happy, she says to me that it is not a difficult song, it is necessary more feeling that technical, but I was not born to play music. I will never be able to do a similar thing as is this beautiful disc
. Well, the mine is to listen. It is wonderful to listen to Gisela and the good times with Jorcx. Ah! this Sunday, the 19th we are going to go to another Jorcx's concert.
