There's a rather shaky video clip of Leonard's spoken-word section from 13/05/06 posted on YouTube.

Thank you SO much for posting this, Johnny!!! So GRANDE to be able to listen for ourselves what we're hearing described!! My heart SANK when the video ended after Anjani's "Thanks... " ~ her vocals were EXCELLENT and my mind could only finish out "... for the dance ~ " ~ but I SO wanted to hear HER do it!
Through Leonard's words, I got clarified what I was uncertain of... whether this was Anjani's first time singing in public from this album, or her first time singing in public ~ period! Unless I've misunderstood Leonard's intended meaning, it's the latter ~~ which, if that's the case, is AMAZING! I'm also gratified to know for absolute certain that I've been pronouncing her name correctly all along ~ someone in something written about her [perhaps, on her site??] wrote it phonetically, which with the way I read their pronunciation, didn't align with the way I've been saying it.
It was interesting
to see how the audience immediately calmed into silence as soon as they realized Leonard wasn't simply speaking, he was reading a poem. It's tremendous having this footage available ~ now I want the whole thing!! I like it very much that he read a poem that imparts sensitivities surrounding war.
Thank you, again, Johnny ~ this is great!
