Old albums

Post by Nightstalker »

I have never been a collector of anything even though I am a packrat. I do have a couple of LC's old albums boxed up in the garage with about 300 others (and some reel to reel, 8 track and cassettes. LOL). One of these days.....

Anyhow, Saturday the Rabbi and I took the younger children for a Spring walk in Chapel Hill near the university. A couple of them got thirsty but we could not buy anything for them because it was Shabbot. However, the Rabbi knew the proprietor of a little cafe cum used book store and they gave the children some water (to drink inside only of course). I had never been in this place before and it is way off the main beat there, so I asked if he had any old LC books. I could not shop but if he had said, "Yes," I would have gone back another day. He said not that he knew of but that he did have a number of old albums by LC. If anyone is interested I do plan to go back and rummage around there soon. Tell me here what you might be looking for and I will see if it is there.

If any happen to be autographed I may buy them anyhow.

Go ahead and buy them anyhow, anyhow :) . There will always be someone wanting one of them. Kevin is still looking. I'd still like to have Death of a Ladies Man, if it was on vinyl.... anything on vinyl, really. I'll take them, if no one else. Well ~ unless they're a fortune, of course. I can give you my phone number, so you can call with prices, if possible.
