poetry contest
ok, so... i see the critic2 post about the poetry comp, but is anything set in stone yet?
relax T. I am just doing my little bit by encouraging anyone who wants to be the interthingy or the judge. I hope you will also do the same, and you will enter the comp. as well, and spend time afterwards offering crits.Teratogen wrote:hahahahaha. well, it IS january now, and i was hoping this would have begun last month, but to those who preferred vacation for holidays, we did not do it then. i don't even care what anybody thinks of c2 anymore, because he is not going to be running this whole thing anyway... will he?
I just want to enjoy the comp. as much as we all did last time. the only difference I hope for this time around is that the baby trolls do not again campaign to spoil it afterwards for all those who take part.
If you read earlier posts then I hope you are personally encouraging to enter , by pm/email/whatever, any person who would make the comp. better. Liz is contacting Martine. Hillary and Laurie. I will ask Byron, Margaret and Charles. Who will you contact?

all entries are sent directly to the interthingy, she/he then passes them on to the judgy who is not told who wroted dem. is dat clear enough for ya' or do you want to make anything of it, huh?linda_lakeside wrote:I was not here for the last comp., so what is the role of the interthingy?

OK. This is my update. I've reached all of my three parties in one fashion or another.
Martine will participate, but will not judge. She didn't comment on being the intermediary [for those of you feeling the compunction to refer to such an esteemed position as "interthingy"].
Laurie has been reading the Forum fairly regularly, but has been finding the Member's Poetry section too toxic to enter back in, so far.
Hillary will be returning soon. She was interested in the fact that there was another Poetry Comp afoot/ahead/ahand.
I've done my part.
Hey! You! Linda and C2 ~ take it outside, will ya?
