Wouldn't normally admit to perusing the British right wing press (I was visiting relatives, honest), but from the Mail on Sunday (22/01/2012) under the heading 'The old ones really are the best', a review by Tim de Lisle gives Old Ideas five stars.
Not much new, but a few amusing observations:
'At 74 [sic], Leonard Cohen's songs still have gravity, grace and wit'
'Musically, it's like late Dylan, but lyrically, it knocks him into a cocked Stetson.'
'It's the best album ever made by a senior citizen.'
If anyone wants a scan of it let me know.

The way the publicity machine is going, I'm surprised they're not giving away free copies of "Old Ideas" with The Mail On Sunday!
Re: Review in Mail on Sunday
Then for the first time, many would admit to having bought The Mail On Sunday

I guess it all started for me sometime around Christmas 1967 and now, goodness me, it's.........2018 and over fifty years later.
No one ever listens to me. I might as well be a Leonard Cohen record.
