Thanks basecamp,
These are figures from 2010 only. Wonder if there are any stats for 2008 and/or 2009.
Best regards,
Mary

Re: Leonard Cohen in the top 30 tours worldwide
With Leonard, Michael Buble, Cirque de Soleil (three times), Justin Bieber, Rush and Nickelback 8 on 50 of the most lucrative shows of 2010 are by canadians artists. Ok, maybe i'm a little bit selfish here, sorry....

Re: Leonard Cohen in the top 30 tours worldwide
Just having a little fun with the numbers calaculating artists on this list by how much they made on average by show. As I suspected Leonard placed substantially higher on that kind of list.
Just the Top 10 for example (gross)
1) Bon Jovi $2.5 million per show
2) AC/DC $4.43 million
3) U2 $4.02 million
4) Lady Gaga $968,116
5) Metallica $1.85 million
6) Michael Buble $938,739
7) Walking with Dinosaurs $214,639
8 Paul McCartney $3 million
9) Eagles $1.7 million
10) Roger Waters $1.59 million
30) Leonard Cohen $1.4 million
Adjusting all the Top 30 for that kind of calculation would probably put Cohen easily in the Top 15 or 20 for 2010. Way to go Leonard!
