Hi folks;
I still haven't got around to purchasing a copy of the DVD yet (which I will get around to doing eventually), and wanted to ask a quicky re one of the interviews in the film where Mr Cohen mentions a few regional musical genres that he would have been listening to at that time. If I remember correctly, this was in answer to the interviewer asking how he would describe his own music. Can anyone remind me what these genres were? I can't for the life of me remember any of them, and I'd like to do a little digging into some of this stuff.
Cheers in advance, and a very happy new year to all.

If I remember correctly he said it was kind of European troubadour style. His music has been throughout his career very popular in Europe and especially France, where it was said that if a French woman had to buy just one record, it would be a Leonard Cohen. But I will have to go back to the film to get more information.
