Beautiful montage, which I shall watch many times!

And it helps that "Forever Young" is the song that I would like played at my funeral. (In the very distant future.) Great version live version of it too; I can't figure out where from.

Thank you for the kind words about the video.

Re "Forever Young,"
The version in the video is from The Last Waltz concert by The Band, which is why the song is properly credited to "The Band, featuring Bob Dylan." Martin Scorsese, of course, filmed the 1976 San Francisco concert, making it into a documentary that was released in 1978.

Most Dylan aficionados, by my reading, hold this rendition distinctly inferior to Dylan's performances of it solo and to the two versions in which it was released in 1974 on Planet Waves. I am less zealous in my rankings, but technical and copyright issues did factor into my choice of versions.

Dear Allan ~

Tears accompanied me throughout this distinctly insightful and sensitive video tribute to Leonard's 76th birthday.

The dynamic, energy, and meaning of the music and lyrics perfectly and seamlessly matched the photos you chose.
I might need to watch one after the other, but the feeling I had as I watched this was that it is my favourite of all of your beautiful tributes to Leonard. It brims with respect and deep feeling. The way you covered various periods and aspects of Leonard's life felt natural and effortless. So well done, Allan. So well done. Thank you.

Love,
Lizzy
