Last year you said
you'd stay, if I'd beg.
Please, can't we beguile
you to linger awhile?

Re: Ren Is Leaving(Again)
Ren,
If you must leave, why take your poems with you? We all know they're nonsense poems, but we need some
'round here, for gawd's sake! Anyways, it was fun while it lasted...
PS: Plus you never really hid Ren's real identity – you even signed the poem at the top of this thread with a 'G.'

Re: Ren Is Leaving(Again)
Signing the poem with a G was a bit of misdirection. I don't even know who Geoffrey is to be honest. But I knew that if I signed with a G you would all think it was Geoffrey. You seemed to think it was Geoffrey last year when I posted so I thought I'd go with that. One person here knows who I am. I told her who Iimaginary friend wrote:Ren,

was last year and she promised to keep my secret.

Uh-huh. So Geoffrey just lay there quietly, absorbing the attention as Ren?
Very tricky both of you!

Don't matter who you is or ain't, I'll miss you when you go, honeybundle... (Cate says men are always leaving, so I guess you're a man...)
Re: Ren Is Leaving(Again)
I really feel for Geoffrey. All his life his surname has been "Wren". He even graces Page 1 of the Gallery of Beautiful Losers on this very site. Then along comes this wholly unconnected person (apart from the technicality that they are the same one person) and calls himself "Ren". What a bummer of a coincidence.
Re: Ren Is Leaving(Again)
I spoke to another forum member here last year and told her who I was. She was sworn to secrecy. I am not Geoffrey. I'm not. I believe Geoffey does not live in the USA. I do. East coast. New Jersey. I have tickets to see Al Stewart (Year of the Cat) next week in Woodbridge NJ a few miles from my home.Harry S wrote:I really feel for Geoffrey. All his life his surname has been "Wren". Hi Geoffrey!

There must be something you can ask me that only someone living in Jersey would know right this second?Harry S wrote:Hi Geoffrey!
Re: Ren Is Leaving(Again)
confusing
Well somebody could and occasionally does sign G. to implicate G but G knows that someone signs G to implicate him so G could sign G to implicate the person who usually implicates him…

If anyone had looked at my profile they would have seen that the G was for Gorklund.Cate wrote:confusing
