Austin: Any presale options still available?

Post by btrabulsi »

Hi, all. I'm wondering if there is anything I can do at this point to increase my chance of getting some tickets to the Austin show when (or before) they go on sale at 10am on Friday. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the presale to Austin was on Monday, 12 hours only.

Well, Henning, they are bound to fin(n)ish you when you take too many... So I suggest that those of us who are not towers of strengths like Jarkko just refrain from paying certain posts too much attention (just generally speaking; not that I have anyone in particular in mind here...)! ;-)

Let's gossip a bit. The North American are sleeping now, only 30 forumers online right now. In 2 hours they will assault this place again with all sorts of requests. At least they know how to party with little in their pockets while we Germans weep from morning til midnight. I am such a crap moderator but I miss the humor these days. Leonard does, too. He is sick of all the praises.

Some of the North Americans must have felt that too, though... Therefore they have started complaining, for example about the ticket prices or not being able to have a "Meet and Greet". Aaaah, I remember the times when I used to say "I am a Leonard Cohen fan" and people would reply: "Leonard who"? and now, it is so mainstream... ;-)

Great, Henning - didn't you want to gossip? Now I gossip, and where are you? Also, the North Americans might dislike us using their section of the forum for this... I do not want to be tarred, feathered and eternally subitted to Dylan music as a punishment, you know!

Since the Austin presale is closed anyways we can abuse this thread the way we want. As you mention Dylan, he is not so bad as I think he is. I am even hosting a Bob Dylan tribute this year, the third Tower Of Song Festival with a band who is partly from Munster called Black Rust plus a young Bavarian protest singer. It's in Wetzlar on April 17. Obama said that USA will stand up again and the two parliaments members stood up and waved their flags and burgers. It's good to be tarred from time to time. It's like a mudpack and good for the back. They practice it in Toowoomba and it works perfectly. Ask Andrew.

Right, so Dylan and tar; but it is the feathers I am still worried about! You know, on this forum, they are not even acceptable with peacocks spreading their fans...
Wish someone would wave a burger at me, too (and keep the flags) - I am really hungry but too lazy to cook right now!
@ Tinderella: Henning does not mean the cheese, but beautiful Muenster, the home of rain, bikes and churches...
Ah, I have just seen the Quebvec presale is over, too; so we can always have a Canadian thread as well if the Texans get annoyed..

I always wondered what happened when we were sleeping - I had suspected it was some type of party with special cake which would be tucked away by the time we woke up.

So perhaps we should have an official exchange, with a party and a big cake (to be tucked away of course once our American fellow-Cohenites wake up)? What do you drink in your part of the green island in the rain, apart from Guinness?
P.S.: See, I said I was hungry; that is where the cheese association must have come from...
