I'm looking forward to...

... not only the concert itself (mine will be in London), but to all the accounts by forum members of all the other concerts elsewhere in the world.

In fact, although I can't wait to attend it, I am very glad the London concert is not the first date on the tour. I want to hear about lots of others first. It's going to be such fun comparing them. :-)

I just got my tickets for the very first scheduled show, in Fredericton. Row L, right hand side. I'll post a description as soon as I get back to the house. Before I get into the champagne.

What would people like to know about? Songs played? Set? impressions?

Please do tell us what it was like as soon as you've recovered. :-)

I for one will want to know about everything: what the first song was, whether LC looked healthy (we need him to survive that gruelling tour, poor man - I'm 60 next month, I can't imagine doing that kind of thing aged 73, or any age actually!), what he said (if he spoke at all), what the whole thing looked like, how many encores, what you felt all through, everything! Oh, I'm so excited for you already.

The show in Fredericton will be awesome I am sure esp being the first show. I am not sure if I should say what row I am in, all I will say is I might be able to tell if he wears aftershave.

The folks at the Play House are doing a great job from what I have heard.
A certain # of seats were put aside for Friends of the Play House and Benefactors so you snooze you loose I was second in line a friend went at 6 am I went at 8 am she had to work, the first man there was there at 4:43 (he was telling people 4:43). He told me that his daughter met Lorca through a friend and went to Lorca's mom's place in France. A certain number of tickets have been set aside for the folks in line/phone and on line for Thursday. At 8:40 this evening a friend told me that a friend of his had hired a student and was 6th in line. Gaud love them there is a forecast for snow and freezing rain.
FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED BEGINNING THURSDAY MORNING. THIS IS A WARNING THAT AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS
I heard that the phone is ringing off the hook, people from all over trying to get tickets. There are folks that want to do every show.
If the weather is not too nasty I will go see the line tomorrow. Wish I had a bunch of money for coffee for them wow they are in for a rough night. It would be nice to let them know if they made the cut, the others could go home.

Wow, you lucky thing! (Actually, you deserve a good seat.) I will expect you to tell us what aftershave he wears. That's the least you can do. :-)

Wishing you all well with the arctic weather.

I was in too much pain from a fall and the weather was too bad to go see the line-up. The phone in the office next to mine is going on speaker phone and not able to get through to the box office, I tried at 12:19 to get on the web site and could not. It is very strange I am happy I have good tickets but it is hard to be happy when I know so many people that are going to be disapponted. I would have been a miserable person if I did not get a ticket, Fredericton is a small city.

I was joking with a friend that all my friends are happy because they would not have heard the end of it if I did not get a ticket and the reason he is coming to Fredericton is because I call out his name everyday, (in case you don't know the cat in my avatar is mine his name is Leonardcohen, my other cat his 1/2 brother is Rumi).

Bella I hope there is a way you can get tickets. Maybe someone will come through for you just let as many people as you can know you want tickets don't give up.

Thank you, Tri-me, but I do have a ticket. I just want to hear about everyone else's experience too. It will add to my pleasure. :-)

I'm afraid not, Brownie. FNAC said tickets would be on sale in May, so we have a while to wait yet. I'm keeping an eye on the website, just in case. http://www.nice.fr/mairie_nice_474.html. LC is still not listed there.
