chat room on this site

Hi,
This is my first visit to this site and I'm interested in checking out the chat room as well. Can anyone tell me why it is hard to get into.

I had problems with getting into the chatroom when I updated java so I went back to a previous version of java which seemed to work. I hope that this is of some use.

Tony is right, there was a problem with a version of java, as detailed in this thread on another forum.

Alternatively, if you're not happy installing or uninstalling versions of Java, there is another web-page that lets you get to the chatroom, by going here: webchat.blosers.org. Just remember to over-type the randomly-generated nickname (CGI and 3 digits) with your desired nickname before you click on login! Hope to see you there

A big thanks to Tony for his link to the chat room. it worked a treat. Don't know anything about java apart from the kind you drink so I'll take the easy option.
