Night of Cohen For Cohen's Birthday In London

First to introduce myself - i gues I am a long time lurker who has hardly posted but greatly enjoys this forum.

What I would like to propose is that n the 23rd of September - Cohen's Birthday - we have an open mic style 'Night of Cohen' in London. Having run open mic nights for the past two years, this would be something that I would be willing and able to run. I wanted to find out if there was any enthusiasm for such an event and of course whether there were sufficient people willing to play. HYis birthday is only three weeks but I reckon that gives us just enough time. Please respond.

Yes Reuben, maybe you can suggest a good venue close to the Barbican, that can handle 60 (or more) Cohenites after the glass concert. It doesnt necessarily have to be an open mic thing but anywhere with a bar and space to park our bums would be good. Anyway, if one can sing loud enough who needs a mic?

ok, you can take the Stansted bus to Finchley Rd and then a regular bus to Chalk Farm or Camden Town. If the Stansted bus goes on to Golders Green, as they used to, then off there and Northern Line 4 stops southwards to Camden Town.
