Thanks for posting the link Jarkko. I've just
discovered from Anjani's site, which links from the
new leonardcohen.com site that Anjani is also playing
at the Montreaux Jazz Festival on July 14. However,
there is no mention of her name on the Montreaux
Jazz Festival. Montreaux is only an hour away from
my home, so I shall try to get a ticket when I get
confirmation of the venue.

Thanks for the link. Looks really nice, and their Cohen forum has already more than 80.000 messages!

Does this mean that Sony is now passing their responsibility for maintaining a Cohen site to Jarkko :?: Another reason this forum should be kept open if at all possible.

Hmm... interesting turn indeed. I will keep the forum open at least until we have made a decision on Hydra. Let's take one or two of these at Roloi and produce a good plan together.

I hope those that go with jarkko buy him a lot of those bottles and let us say after 2-3(edited) get him to sign that he will keep the forum open.
And remember here in Scandinavia the Finn's are not known to spit in the glass as we say.

Well, Henning wrote Leonard that I shouldn't have more than two, or otherwise I start to sing. And THAT would be even more awful than some threads on this board.

The problem with Sony's link to this message board is that it is smaller, slower and less user-friendly to navigate.

Just realised that this site has slowed down too. Is this because there's a whole new bunch of people accessing it from the Sony site?

It shouldn't have slowed down... Must be temporal problems somewhere in the international network.

Sony is mirroring the forum as a part of their community page, so indeed it looks too small there.

Congratulations Jarkko to the forum being included on the Sony site - I don't think you should change much :-)

I hope Leonard smiled after that note I sent him. I think he knew already what I was talking about because he remembered what happened after he had poured the Red Needle in your glass in 1999.

Henning, that reminded me that I planned to ask you to take a whip of your comprehensive collection with you to Hydra; Laura mentioned in another thread that we are going to have a Forum School there, and we have to be properly prepared!

I just noticed that new Sony site has complete video clips for Closing Time, First We Take Manhattan, Dance Me... (1993 Live), In My Secret Life and Because Of. Previously, they had only the extracts (Because Of was only in full length).

Thanks Tom,
I haven't ever seen this video of 'Dance me to the end of love'. It is very moving, less obtuse than the Youtube one.
