Dear All,
How's the campaign going for a re-release of a Naked version of Death Of A Ladies Man? Can anyone suggest who I might write to with this idea? If Sony intends to re-issue the entire Leonard back-catalogue, doesn't it make perfect sense for them to deliver us a Naked version of Ladies Man?

Hi Mark,
I've thought this would be a good idea for a long-time. Possibly both Leonard and Spector would have to give their approval. However, if that were the case, it may not be possible at present, with Spector's trial going on. As I mentioned before, I did put this idea to Leonard in a letter, some years ago. Kelley Lynch always made sure that Leonard got my letters, so I like to think he saw it (even though he didn't reply to this one).
All good things, John E

According to Leonard Cohen the collaboration between him and Spector ended when Spector and his armed boodyguard took all the tapes and mixed them at a secret place. Probably Spector still has all the recordings, and if this is the case I am guessing that it will be very difficult to get a hold of them.
