I knew your recording of your experience would be phenomenal, Jarkko... this Spanish contingent of the LC Army is very intriguing all 'round 8) . Really fine looking people.

Thank you so much... and Anjani ~ in the blue or out of the blue ~ so beautiful. Ed Sanders. I'd never have imagined such a sweet, warm, impish face.

Thanks Jarkko and Eija. You very clearly had a great time! From what I've seen, anyone who attended had no choice.

Such a magical show. It shows through everywhere. You folks who made it to Barcelona were fortunate, indeed.

We have more photos, and desire of showing them, really we were lucky.

With Gaudí's dragoon in the Parc Guell.

In the backstage: Shell, Pearl, Bea and FYS. The name of my wife is Conxita, it might translate for "Shell", as in The Favourite Game.

Perla Javier Colis - Ballad of the absent mare
This is a taste with very bad quality (and temporary) of what we could enjoy on Saturday. Only it is useful as memory in wait of the DVD. I will be satisfied to share it, If Mr.Socks or someone releases a new FTP server for us.

Today an angel has sent us Discoteca, Perla Batalla's album in Spanish. I was thinking that it's impossible to do better the Cucurrucucu of Caetano Veloso. The whole disc is a marvel. Special thanks to Bea and Yvonne for all. This Saturday we have a concert of Perla, again!!

Image

We do not know that to say ... We wish all the happiness to you.

Anjani - Thanks for the dance

Anjani sang the phrase "thanks for the dance" in Spanish!!

Murphy, Shell and Jackson, What trio!

Jackson Browne - Thousand kisses deep

I am an fan of Jackson Browne, TNS every day I like more, specially Thousand ... and in Sant Feliu this version filled me with enthusiasm. I need listening again.

Adam and Lluis. Shell said that Perla and Anajni are beautiful, but...

What gorgeous photos ~ and such a great group you all are :D ! Thanks for just keeping them showing up here, AnToni :D . Perla really looks exceptional in that last photo of her. I can only imagine how great her Spanish album must be... and how excited ya'll were when she sang the phrase "Thanks for the dance" in Spanish. You must have all gone nuts :D when she did it. Your Conxita Shell is very beautiful, too, AnToni. I noticed that in one of the earlier photos, too.

Jarkko, what about the news you said you might have after Barcelona? (I'm talking about Cohen's touring). Does it mean that no news is bad news?

Not exactly... it means that there are no news at all, for the time being.

What an entertaining account Anjani wrote about this tour :D ! Sweet and lovely and charming 8) ... and here's still another recipe to try... so simple. I'll be curious to see how I feel about it, having nothing to compare. I love how she came about finally tasting it for herself  .

A woman after my own heart with that 'instruction-manual boulder' sitting in the middle of the road... can I ever relate  .

Who could ever ask for a better recommendation on "Suzanne" than the one cd of its singer occupying the single space since August :) ! I feel so good knowing I'm not the only one still in single-cd unit mode :P .

BoHo ~ Check out the photo of Anjani in red, signing autographs... and the one immediately preceding it, in the slideshow ~ K.T. The rest are really evocative of place and great times :D . Amazing how they managed to get into that 'no exceptions' restaurant... what a delight that meal was from her description of food, people, and surroundings. Makes you want to hop a plane... next year, after you've made your reservations now.

Anjani looks so stunning in white, sitting on the veranda... and then the only woman, and a woman wearing white, in the group shot with all the men dressed darkly. Really fine photo.

Great account, Anjani :D !! Thanks, Dick.

For many reasons this reading has made happy and amused me. She has very good sense of humour speaking about things than I love.

I have tried to guess, with the clues that Anajni gives us, which is this restaurant. I do not know it exactly. If I see Jackson Browne for Gracia I will ask it to him.

Jabier Muguruza is Basque, probably for this he risks with the garlic, a daring variation of the "pa amb tomàquet" - bread with tomato. Of course, its higher level is when it accompanies to the Iberico ham.

The important thing is that it seems that they had a good time.

Another thing that has filled me with happiness, it's the commentaries about Toti. I cannot be objective when I speak about him, too many intimate moments listening to his music from when almost I was a child. In the middle of all these artists with powerful voices, I was afraid that he would not be valued. Vida Secreta (Secret Live, is it a causality?) is an instrumental album of a great beauty, simple and calm. Maybe, HE has listened to it, there in LA.
