That would be up to the jury, but I'm sure they'd know where to put it. All I know is that I certainly couldn't have written anything like it.

>I crit. when I choose to crit. not on demand.

That sounds awfully close to arrogance.

>I do respond to requests but not from weirdos who prepare pizza before 7 o'clock in the morning.

My working day starts at 4.00am. What is early in the morning for you is the middle of the day for me. On average I sleep between three to four hours during a twenty-four hour period, one of several things I have in common with Leonard Cohen.

>I seem to have missed your response about volunteering to be an intershammos (btw, context will help you translate the Yiddish, and removes the obvious excuse for not answering).

If I wanted to learn Jewish I'd move south. Up here in North Norway everybody's got blue eyes, blond(e) hair - and goes to church on a Sunday.

Hi Muddy ~

I like the line that Geoffrey has isolated...
I search for a master of your body that is not you
I like it because of how it imparts the feeling of impossibility of reaching this woman, and of trying so hard. The woman is the master of her body... but he seems unable to break through her mastery of her self.

Hi Lizz... You know what? I wouldn't have chosen that word if I had translated it, it's another merit of Sandra's work. When I first saw the translation, I thought "damn it, that's the word".

I know that the only "replies" to my poem were the ones by you two, and I appreciate it, but, please, don't use my poem as your ring 'cause, although it might be an average poem, I don't think it's fair for it and for me...
actually it shows the forum members that the thread is alive and after chucklng at my posts, and then laughing at Geoffrey, they may stop and read a work that would otherwise have passed them by.

I would tend to agree

I can assure you it's a long way from being average, Muddy. Believe me.
but which way
Geoffrey won't say
a typical play
it makes his day

the 2 spelling mistakes in my Christening name do not embiggen you, but instead make you seem both predictable and pathetic.

and your other things in common with Leonard,?? "ha ha ha, be still, my shaking sides", oh, wait, perhaps you meant being broke?

have you ever noticed that Leonard can vary his writing style? As you sleep so little, take some time between morning pizzas and practice, practice, practice.

Perhaps you could even find a cheap course for beginners on the Internet. I would offer to help you, myself, but not until you give me my tuxedo black.

that was a very rude and completely unwarranted response, following which I shall probably get less sleep tonight than even Geoffrey.

Nonetheless, as you have insulted me in CAPITALS I realise that you are genuinely hurt and I shall now leave this thread you own.

good luck with the writing,

No one like you could hurt me, you have to be intelligent to hurt me...

I never liked that double-talker either. He would never actually say what he meant. He just plays word-games with people and ridicules them in front of everybody without them even realising it. But you saw through him, Muddy. Bravo!
