When Diane came in, she said some of my posts looked 'peculiar'. A tag I'm rather proud to wear.

Laughters, like culpability can be sane or unsane. I explain for the dumbos here, if there are some. Maybe there is at least one, the guy with the teddy bear with one tooth, in the back, I dunno. (Do I speak correctly the language of the majority now? Hum... let see). It is as unsane not to have culpability feelings when something weird is done (lets talk about extreme example : serial killers, and recidivists criminals in general don't feel any culpability) than to feel culpability for nothing. Amusing, no?

Now this teenage forum culture. Interesting phenomenon. In the beginning, there was nothing. The first day the light was created. And all the teenagers of the world invaded the creation, left alone by their society, in front of screens be it television or computer.

In the chat rooms and forum, it implants a culture of socializing like one of abandoned children in the streets of poorest cities of the world. Or poorest section of rich cities. It is the same thing.

When Internet arrive in every home, more adults enter the creation and they adopt a teenager way to be there, the culture of the majority.

Very interesting conclusion. Let's go finish my paper. 8) I just have to copy/paste this now. Yeah! :D

P.S. : Second question. When you get bored of acting like teenagers, because you are not one since a long time, what do you do? Do you withdraw like Mary-the-friend-of-Tom? Do you came just to give information (real in the best of cases) like many and not or rarely socialize in another ground? To be continued. 8)

Hi Linda!

I recognise a fellow peculiar person when I see one  .

Tchoc,

Am I one of these people you think is behaving like a teenager? Just playing. I don't have any information, real or unreal, so all I can do is act the fool. What weird things have been done? I can think of words to describe 'the guy with the teddy bear', but 'dumbo' would not be one of them.

I trust you have plenty of good examples for your paper.

Have fun.

Diane

Well, Diane, really, in fact, I would have thought that you know yourself better than anybody, and don't have the need for me or anything or anybody else to tell you who you are. (In fact I think that nobody can tell you, but you.)

If it is all you can do dear, do what you can. And don't stop to think if you can do otherwise than to submit to the primary culture of forums :

Anyway, I know what you mean because I felt the same when I entered forums in the beginning. But I get soon bore to the bones with this too light encounter of others. Poeple told me I'm too deep since I'm born, so I guess I will die like that. My problem.

After all it tooks so many years in real life to pass from apes to homo sapiens sapiens and monkeys are so funny. Full of wit imitative little creatures of G_d. I have no shame from were I come, so why could I "blame" others. I express myself in an other way, that's all.

As for the Dumbo he himself told me that he is. What can I do. I thought that he knows better than anybody who he is. But it is OK. You just begin to stick around so you can not know everything. I guess.

Yeah. I have to go have fun now. Take care.

Sorry for the confusion my Multiple Personality Disorder is not manifesting itself as Paula - I merely used one post to address two people (You and Paula) and, for some reason, I neglected to sign off (either that or I'm going through a schizoid phase)

Paula

Sorry that people think I'm impersonating you it was entirely unintentional

Despite criticism of your avatar (by others) I still need to apologise to you and Albert for filling this thread with meaningless chatter about something.

Great thread you've started mate, this is the most enjoyable thread I've seen in ages

Hi Diane,
PS Everyone's invited to my 18th birthday party
Great! I'll bring the illegal liquor and we can get sick on your carpet together!

Of course, with any gathering of people, there are going to be sad ones, glad ones, bad ones and peculiar ones. Good for us! I'm so relieved to have finally said that out loud. I did, really. I said it out loud.

Diane,

IMO, (if it even matters), life stops being 'fun' when we stop playing. I'm no kid, and I've seen a lot of cynical people, old before their time. My mother died in that fashion. Hating life.

As the years went by, she had less energy, no interests. Play is part of life. How we do it, is as personal as how we deal with the 'serious' issues. Without some lightness and airiness, things can start looking like the former USSR pretty quickly.

If you ever need someone to play with, my sandbox is always open.

Aren't Tchoco's emoticons bright and funny? They make a point as well. Tchoco plays, but in a different way (although I should let her do her own talking).

I'm just trying to say, enjoy life. As long as we're not hurting ourselves or others, it can't be all bad. But, you know that, so I'll go.

See you,
Linda.

That parakeet needs to give it a rest ~ that relationship will never work  . [The parrot hasn't even looked right, much less turned.] There. I've said it. Out loud. Integration attempts amongst the birds. Geesh  !

I can't speak for anyone else, but I work, go grocery shopping, live with my husband, go for drives in the country (the trees! the colours!). I read, listen to music, email my friends. Then, when I'm done doing all that, I come here to, hopefully, find that link or pic or post that brightens my otherwise rather ordinary day.

See you,
Linda.
