yes, quite diffrent. I listen alot to Im your man during the autumn and winter. Well.. I guess I listen to many diffrent albums of LC not depending on what time of year it is. I listened to various positions and im your man yesterday,,

now that the spring has come, I listen a lot to the early albums. There are many songs that gives me the «feelgood» , like for example so long marianne, and suzanne --

I must agree with Tom on this...Songs from a Room... It still is an all time fantastic album. As there was no web site and a lot of naivity when that came out it was fantastic and still is to imagine. Although I am a fan and drive my husband mad with his music I do not read up on a lot of the interpretations. Maybe I`m classed as thick because of it. I feel to listen and appreciate is the main thing?

Hi Smile,

You are so right, to listen and appreciate is the main thing. Songs from a Room was the first Cohen LP I bought, I loved it then and I love it now. Yet, each album has its own gems. Very hard to pick between a ruby and a sapphire.

I guess the only way to 'have your cake and eat it too' would be to have all albums in all formats. Ha! Can you imagine? I feel lucky to have what I do and every addition to my collection is a bonus.

Regards,
Linda

Hi T-

I told you!!! I am Debbie Harry! I told you to keep it quiet. Btw, I haven't aged a day in, oh, 25 years...quiet now...

Yes, it would be fun to watch Videodrome (again).

Regards,
Linda.

Teratogen Death of a Ladies Man??? Well, when I first heard it I was very irritated and felt that Mr. Wall of Sound had insulted his music and vision etc

After listening to it a few times the songs got into my head and now i really love it. I think it is awesome :)

Songs from a room is very raw and not over produced the polar opposite of Death of a Ladies Man. Hey you can't go wrong buy them all.

Teratogen Death of a Ladies Man???!!!
Well, when I first heard it I was very irritated and felt that Mr. Wall of Sound had insulted his music, vision was an ear sore.....etc After listening to it a few times the songs got into my head and now I really love it. I think it is awesome :) Going to pop in into the CD player.

Songs From a Room is my #1 very raw and not over produced, I feel his presence very strongly when I listen to it, the polar opposite of Death of a Ladies Man.

Hey you can't go wrong buy them all.

If It Be Your Will
First We Take Manhattan
Closing Time
Anthem
Alexandra Leaving
