Hi,
So exactly when will tour dates/venues be announced? Does anyone know?
Second item - which LC book of poetry/novel should I buy (1st purchase)?

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

Tour dates will be furnished by Leonard's management office. I don't think anyone can really guess when those dates might be. Just the fact, that they're in the works, is great news for most.

First purchase: Well, you're probably not going to have a lot of choices. I'd suggest that you go to the library, find what you like, then track it down. Most of his work (in poetry) is out of print. Stranger Music, I think,is still around.

There is a lot in these very pages. Lot's in Leonard's own hand. Look around the poetry sections, and you'll probably find a link or something.

Linda.

Of course, both his novels are still widely available. But, the poems are in song. I'd buy CDs as well. Many of them. :D

Welcome!
Stranger Music is still widely available - it is collection of Leonard's best poetry from all his book (1955-1993). I suggest that you start with it - other books aren't in print, except for Book of Mercy (1984), and Death of a Lady'a Man (1978) can be found. For older books you must browse thru second store shops or used books sites like abebooks.com.

The tour will be probaly in late 2006 - I guess no before. Leonard has to issue his new album first, and before that, at the very beginning of 2006 he has scheduled Blue Alert, an album with Anjani Thomas.
