My dear boy,
You forgot me! I have posted both poetry and critiques (and I'm still waiting for my "Thank you").

Yes, they were "in the style of..." but as I recall your first 20 or 30 poems posted to this forum were in the exact style (actually they were simply mocking rewrites of others poems). Why, it was several months before you actually posted an original poem. Of course I understand that you were quite busy converting what was a fine community, where a civil tongue was the rule, into your own little fiefdom under the guise of some kind of expert.

I know of close to a dozen folks who regularly posted poems here, and had many a spirited and good natured conversation, until you showed up with you holier than thou attitude. They're gone now (though George did make a brief return not long ago). You've managed to dwindle the list considerably. In fact you alone accounted for the majority of the first entries and used several new names to keep your totals up in the second. Well done! Your goal is in sight!

come on you lot! a single reply so far (hooray for Paula) is not good enough. I know L and L have both agreed elsewhere but add your names here, if I remain alone with Paula who knows what could happen!

My dear sweet boy,
What a little clique you have going! Now you alone are deciding who can and who cannot post poems! What did we call this in school? Ah yes, the "in crowd" I believe.

It's going to be rather tough getting a new passerby to stop in and participate when you're creating guest lists. How are you going to control it?

Once again I see this as another excuse for you not to do your assignments. It's always another distraction with you!

Here's a thought.

Instead of you limiting this to folks on your elitist list why don't you have those who haven't posted poems or critiques (at least ones that you have blessed) submit a resume directly to you? Then you can deem them worthy or not without the boring process of you having to decompose their efforts publicly.

This doesn't suggest exclusivity. However, as organization of any gathering goes, one does rely on those who have attended in the past, for starters.

Now, somewhere, C2, I did promise, faithfully, to not interfere! That can only be considered a blessing  . I'll also avidly read, though I'm still behind there, too.

What a pity old Seedy passed away so soon

It was my understanding that a concerned citizen snagged some of Seedy's DNA. Just to good a guy to let 'im go forever into the hereafter. Check with the DNA Council. I'm sure you're in luck.

Dear Mr. Willful ~ Not to worry. You'll get clarification soon enough.
