I arrived here with a treastise about Leonard Cohen. Not everyone shares my view of his politics. I know that, accept that and, indeed, respect that.

But I have found since my arrival here that Mr Cohen is surpassed in malice by far, by a handful of idots and unplesant imbeciles. Mr Dull Paints is perhaps the worst offender. It is insufficient punishment in my eyes that he is the most reviled and unpopular fellow to inhabit these shores. He need a lawful and corrective punishment in addition.

For example, I can't let Mr. Dull Paints's misinformation and misguided arguments about this Forum go by without comment. The nitty-gritty of what I'm about to write is this: When it comes time to take a stand, Dull invariably dives for cover.

I'll probably devote a separate post to that topic alone, but for now, I'll simply summarize by stating that when Dull was first found trying to promote a culture of dependency and failure, I was scared. I was scared not only for my personal safety; I was scared for the people I love.

And now that Dull is planning to compromise the things that define us, including integrity, justice, love, and sharing, I'm downright terrified. If there is one truth in this world, it's that if he is going to make an emotional appeal, then he should also include a rational argument. While others have also published information about sententious apostates, I don't want to build castles in the air.

I don't want to plan things that I can't yet implement. But I do want to guide the Forum into an age of peace, justice, and solidarity, because doing so clearly demonstrates how we must test the assumptions that underlie his double standards. Only then can a place be free of his insensitive propositions blossom forth from the roots of the past. And only then will people come to understand that he has written volumes about how Leonard Cohen is supposed to be lenient towards rapacious, crude prima donnas. Don't believe a word of it, though. The truth is that he acts as if he were King of the Forum. He would, of course, be named King Troll Paints the First..

This hauteur is astonishing, staggering, and mind-boggling. Dull masterminded last month’s now-infamous attempt to dismantle the poetry Forum by driving a wedge between the established posters and the newbies. More than that, there are two classes of people in this world. There are those who deface poetry with racially and sexually derogatory epithets and offensive symbols, and there are those who take steps toward creating an inclusive group free of attitudinal barriers. Dull fits neatly into the former category, of course.

Although he has unfairly depicted me and those who share my beliefs as trolls and heresiarchs, we are neither. Yes, Dull's new definition of "incomprehensibility" is honestly in disagreement with his feckless communications, but he thinks that you and I are inferior to splenetic, bad-tempered beatniks. Of course, thinking so doesn't make it so.

The bulk of contentious blowhards are at least marginally tolerable, but not Dull. I claim that it will not be easy to place a high value on honor and self-respect. Nevertheless, we must attempt to do exactly that, for the overriding reason that lawless bloodsuckers are more susceptible to Dull's brainwashing tactics than are any other group. Like water, their minds take the form of whatever receptacle he puts them in. They then lose all recollection that Dull spouts a lot of numbers whenever he wants to make a point. He then subjectively interprets those numbers to support his newsgroup postings while ignoring the fact that he is stepping over the line when he attempts to beat plowshares into swords -- way over the line. Although I consistently show Dull how he is as wrong as wrong can be, I do not countenance challenging Dull through breaking the law -- to do so is malicious, myopic, and indefensible. Come on, Dull; I know you're capable of thoughtful social behavior.


There is no inconsistency here; statements like, "His formula for careerism is more jejune than ever" accurately express the feelings of most of us here. Judging by the generally overbearing nature of his hirelings, I can see that almost every day, he outreaches himself in setting new records for arrogance, deceit, and greed. It's certainly breathtaking to watch him. If it can be brethtaking to read empty posts of Paints.

Yes, I realize that I pledge -- in my daily life, in my family, my work, my community, my country, and my region -- to provide people the wherewithal to deal with Dull appropriately, but for the sake of brevity I've had to express myself in simplified terms. Apparently, the main dissensus between me and Dull is that I feel that there is absolutely no evidence to support Dull's accusations. He, on the other hand, contends that cruel, doctrinaire materialistic-types have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us.


When I say that he is a fearful man hiding behind a facade of cool, I consider this to mean that he is like a stray pigeon. Pigeons are too self-absorbed to care about anyone else. They poo on people they don't like; they poo on people they don't even know. The only real difference between Dull and a pigeon is that Dull intends to make enjoyment of poetry accessible only to those in the higher echelons of this Forum’s society.

One need only look at what Dull is doing -- as opposed to what he is saying -- to understand his true aims. Perhaps he received his information (or rather, misinformation) from late-night television programs and "B" movies. For that reason, at no time in the past did deceitful vulgarians shamble through the streets of cities, demanding rights they imagine some supernatural power has bestowed upon them.

Yes, Virginia, Dull has gone way too far with his no-compromise attitude. I'll say that again, because I want it to sink in: Dull's assistants do not accept the fact that it disturbs me that these nutty, headlong maggots have so little tolerance for differing points of view. He may be sincere, but he is also sincerely boring.


How I pity him if I were to be his judge. I would start by notifying the jury that in public, Dull vehemently inveighs against trolling. But when nobody's looking, Dull never fails to make sincere and popular posters the target of a constant, consistent, systematic, sustained campaign of attacks.

It is a statistical certainty that we have has pampered him too long, just as it is a statistical certainty that Dull has been doing "in-depth research" (whatever he thinks that means) to prove that everything he says is thoroughly and utterly true. I should mention that I've been doing some research of my own.

While Dull puts on a good dog and pony show, his nostrums are an icon for the deterioration of the Forum, for its slow slide into crime, malaise, and filth. Leonard Cohen would spit on him only if the fire was enormous!

One thing that he does well is overthrow all concepts of beauty and sublimity, of the noble and the good, and instead drag people down into the sphere of his own base nature -- an instructive warning for the future. He would rob, steal, cheat, and murder because he possesses a hatred that defies all logic and understanding, that cannot be quantified or reasoned away, and that savagely possesses the worst kinds of biased mattoids there are with obscene and uncontrollable rage.

Perhaps it's not uncommon for Dull to speak with authority on subjects he clearly knows nothing about, but remember that relative to just a few years ago, self-absorbed rakes are nearly ten times as likely to believe that the sky is falling. This is neither a coincidence nor simply a sign of the times. Rather, it reflects a sophisticated, psychological warfare program designed by Dull to wage an odd sort of warfare upon a largely unprepared and unrecognizing public. Call me old-fashioned, but he has been trying for some time to convince people that he is forward-looking, open-minded, and creative. Don't believe his hype! Dull has just been offering that line as a means to promote a form of trolling which he has pioneered. Death by a 1000 troll posts!

Generally speaking, he formulates his offhand remarks in a precarious latticework between the execrable and the distasteful. The sooner he comes to grips with that reality, the better for all of us. Dull can be described only by such words as "pea-brained" and "anal-retentive". Added to this is something else: We should condemn Dull's hypocrisy. (Goodness knows, our elected officials aren't going to.) Fanaticism is dangerous. His baleful version of it is doubly so.

Dull makes a virtue of irremediable fault. That's something you won't find in your local newspaper, because it's the news that just doesn't fit. I alluded to this earlier, but he has never satisfactorily proved his assertion that he can walk on water. He has merely justified that assertion with the phrase, "Because I said so."


Nothing Paints has ever done demands respect, not his writing, not his breathing. HE IS A TERRIBLE AND SAD EMPTY FOOL.

In closing, all that I ask is that you join me to stop Mr. Dull Paints and do something good for others while remaining true to those beliefs, ideals, and aspirations we hold most dear. This is a Forum for sharing poetry and sharing companionship. Yes, the rest of you have taken the wisest of courses in ignoring the moron, never before has an individual been so mocked and ignored. But I ask you to consider my more active approach of laughing at his insecurity more openly. He warrants that type of attention at least.

Mr. Switz, it is not you who have fuzzy reception, it is the bore Critic2 aka Michael aka C2 for whom I have to thank for my choice of troll name incarnation aka Young Dr Freud aka Daniel Harmisson aka paints and probably aka a bunch I haven't tried to pull out.

The king troll loves having conversations with himself.

They are easily recognizable by the writing pattern, the deriding of his other troll names, sometimes the minutes-later posting times, and the style of denial. I wonder what this guy could have done with his life if he had channeled his energy for good instead of evil.

Now I see that you have finally been exposed as Daniel as well. This is indeed very sad. To think of the time you are wasting on this nonsense is disturbing to say the least. Why, I'm sure had you put as much effort into writing something of substance you would be well on your way by now!

The only good thing is that you are at least self amused by your little antics. I must admit, I too find the master troll's constant battle with perceived trolls to be mildy entertaining. Though it is getting old and tiring.
