He has a request for us:

Could you help me to isolate the dates when Mr. Cohen lived at the Chelsea Hotel, and also identify any poems by Mr. Cohen which he wrote while living there?

he wrote dated letters to marianne from the chelsea hotel. i have copies somewhere, but no time currently to search for them.

it seems i have erred. can only find one little note, believed to have been written sometime during 1974. he was staying in room #816.
