Hi,

I know that this isn't news, but it seems I'm not allowed to post in "General" and I don't know where else this would belong. Feel free to move it somewhere suitable. I've been a semi-active member/lurker of this forum for years during the world tours from 2008-2013, but I can't seem to remember my old login details, so I created this new account (I think I remember the username and it tells me it's already in use, but the "forgot password" option tells me there is no record of it in conjunction with my two main email addresses).

Anyway, my question is in regards to the official Leonard Cohen merch store - I ordered the new album and a couple of T-shirts from the official store at the end of October, but haven't received anything yet. My questions seem to vanish into nothing - all I got back was a form reply from sandbag.com (which seems to be the UK/EU store that actually fills the orders) telling me that orders are sometimes delayed. Duh.

Is this just my experience or has anybody else here had similar issues? Do you guys have any contact info other than the web form on the Sandbag site to get in touch with an actual human being?

I find it pretty ridiculous that you can pre-order a new album from the official site within the EU and wait a month for it to arrive - and there's no tracking info either. There's a reason why Amazon is wiping the floor with most other online stores. This isn't what I understand as customer service.

PS: Merry Christmas to all. And the "new" record is awesome. I'm so happy I got to listen to it on streaming services, at least.

Unfortunately I have the same experience, pre ordered the album and T-shirt somewhere mid October as soon as it came available and got a shipment confirmation around the release date of the album at the end of November .But out of the blue they refunded my money about 10 days ago and have not responded to an email I sent them. When I look in the shop the album with T-shirt is sold out so I presume that is the reason for the cancellation. I have bought almost every album combined with extra,s at this shop in the last 10 years so it is very disappointing that returning customers that order well in advance are treated this way.

Thanks to both of you for this info. I haven't yet tried to buy the new album, but would like to. Will wait and see if anyone has any further answers. Merry Christmas to everyone, too!

Thanks once again for bringing these issues to my attention these are the only two issues we can see aside from the shipping grumbles but please see below from our customer service team who I am having contact these fans directly with a follow up on each.

One of the team has previously spoken to Matthias & the issue seems to be that his order simply hasn't arrived and time is approaching to deem it missing. We will send a fresh order.

Hugo D ordered to an incomplete address, the package was returned here as undelivered after a few weeks and refunded but looks like he wasn't told this was the reason. We're going to contact him and confirm this was the reason for the unsuccessful delivery.
