I'd like to share a song I recorded: "Listen to the Hummingbird", based on Leonard's poem of the same name – and incorporating his recitation of that poem.

"Hummingbird", a song based on Leonard's poem
Re: "Hummingbird", a song based on Leonard's poem
Thanks, I never heard that poem by Leonard before and your music seems to suit it well.
The thing that most attracts me to watching hummingbirds is their ability to so easily fly backwards. That is probably the best way to fly if you are being drawn toward the light.
I don’t remember ever hearing a hummingbird though. It might be because I’ve only gotten interested in hummingbirds later in life when my hearing if fading.

Everything being said to you is true; Imagine of what it is true.

Their chirps are actually not that high. So maybe you would still be able to hear them.

Maybe I’ll get the opportunity to hear Anna sing.

Hartmut, that is beautiful!! What a lovely melody - so stately & meditative - it had me swaying with the beauty of the majestic sounds, soothing rhythm, & your perfect incorporation of Leonard's voice! Thank you for sharing that.
