Interthingy Official

Post by lizzytysh »

It's official now. Linda_Lakeside has officially accepted the Interthingy [I've begun to like the term] role. This will not preclude her from entering the contest, if she chooses to do so. Now, all we need is a qualified and motivated person for the role of Judge. Then, a topic ~ and we'll be on our way.

Dear Lizzytysh,

Re: Judgeship

Your troubles are over. I am extremely qualified and highly motivated.

I volunteer.

Good! Then it's all settled.

Now for The Topic. I am torn between:

"Ego-Shifting in the Post-Modern Forum: Convergence or Collision".

OR

"Critic2: Glenn or Glenda".

I am leaning heavily towards the latter.

If no one wants to be judge perhaps we could use an intermediary who is not going to participate and judging can be on the forum itself.

Hi Paula ~

In doing it that way, would there be a way to preclude any, one individual from stuffing the ballot box :? ?

Lizzy,
Coming from Florida, as you do, it is perfectly understandable that you would have some suspicions about the ballot box.

Dearest Lizzytysh,

I see you share my concerns about Critic2. Yes, he would stuff the ballot box in order to win. All of his aliases would vote for the dominant ego (a.k.a. Critic2) for first place. Then they would vote for "Martine" for second place. Harry Harpin for third. And so on and so on and so on...

I congratulate you on your perspicacity regarding this matter.

I think that Ann-Marie is a fembot and C2 is Dr Evil. His ego is however dispersed more than just Mini Me, he has a thousand identities of various parts of his troubled psyche.
The puppetmaster has now got his strings tangled, such are the numerous natures of the webs he weaves!!!
C2, go back to the playground.
:D Adieu.

quick explanation please, lizzy. over here there were murmurs of voting irregularities this time round and also the suggestion that the American papers have simply no interest in following any allegations.

Many voting irregularities are strongly suspected as having occurred in the state of Ohio, whose electoral votes ended up going 'for' Bush. Like Florida last time, Ohio was the state whose electoral votes decided the election. The Democratic party [for good reason] is trying to get a Senator to sponsor an investigation; however, Senator Kerry will not get involved with it. These matters appear to be or to have become part of our national 'fiber' and many are feeling both exhausted and rather helpless about it. The papers seem to have pretty much 'gone on,' as well.

I see that Ben Kelly is here at this moment. He's a pretty straightforward type, whose positive influence on Georges resulted directly in improvements to Georges' writing. Ben is also involved in writing arenas.

Perhaps, he would be interested in taking on the role of Judge in our contest. Ben?

Dear Lizzytysh,

Are you not aware or have you forgotten that George in the thread An Hour for George accused Ben Kelly of being "Reality Check." At that time early in my career I thought I had misdiagnosed a case. I thought "Reality Check" was a girl. Now I know that I was on the right track after all --what with Critic2's gender confusion.

According to George:
"Ben Kelly" is "Reality Check."

It is patently obvious (linquistic footprints again!) that Reality Check is also Critic2.

Therefore Critic2 is Ben Kelly.

Under the circumstances it would be foolish to ask Ben Kelly to be a judge. It would have the same lacerating effect on Critic2's psyche as "Martene." Please stop trying to arrange things. You are only making matters worse.

YdF

P.S. In the thread An Hour for George, Critic2/Reality Check is also "Terri."
