I just want to give my full support to John E and zimmy on this.
It had to be said.

I miss the real concert reports.
With the small details that only the big fans and followers would notice.
Now it all gets drowned.

Sorry to say, no offense ment to anyone of you fine people out there.

Oh, my... again, dear Helen... you've conscientiously confined your posting of the 'tweets' of others within two threads, which can be found in the section titled/intended as "Comments... [on Leonard]." In the same way as you, I enjoy watching Leonard's continuing and growing impact on the lives of others, in scope, number, and depth.

I've not had time recently to keep up with them or the concert reports section, so I have no comment on the latter... except to echo what mutti has said... I enjoy reading people's reports and comments on Leonard, as well as photos, videos, and official pictures of the various venues. Oh, do we ever remember the day when there was no possibility for any of that. Now, I luxuriate in our new reality. As you already know, 'tweets' can be profound in their brevity. No one knows the power of concision better than Leonard... as you have well noted.

All the best to you, Helen... and to all the rest here, whether or not I agree with your comments on these issues.

Over and out [and maybe even back to sleep, after this foray to the guest computer in the lobby to wish Leonard a Happy Birthday, in the early morning hours after; and then browsing about a bit, since I'm already here... and then having their free breakfast before getting back on the road]. For the record, I HIGHLY recommend the LaQuinta motel chain. Amongst many other wonderful things, pets stay free 8) :D 8) :D 8) ~ relevant, as my beloved cat, Sophie, is traveling with me ~ and it's CLEAN :D

I want to clarify that I personally look for the concert reports on these threads from people actually at the concert. I want to hear directly from them their experiences and their view of what happened and how it was for them. The enthusiasm, the magic the excitement is so direct in those. That is what touches me. I know when I write them I want to tell my story and how things were for me that performance.

I also appreciate the videos, photos, newspaper reports, even tweets as they say a lot from people who were there who are not on the forum.
I really like the idea someone had on here to have those in a separate thread. They are important too for history. Being in a separate thread would be a huge task to keep them separate but an idea. One can look at them or not.
Bottom line I hope we have lots and lots more concerts to hear about and report on!

Yes, for me, too, mutti... on the personal reports... their enthusiasm, their stories, their perspectives.

Yes, the separate sections would be good, too ~ Personal Reviews / Official Reviews.

The 'tweets' that Helen already so kindly brings to us are already separated out by themselves, via the two threads [read or don't read ~ one's own choice ;-) ].

I don't have a Twitter account, either. Joined it once, only to offer a name for the Budweiser 'colt' ~ offered Pure Hope [as he galloped to his trainer] and the account favourited it :) ... but it ultimately wasn't selected. Pure Love would have been good, too, I think. The Twitter world looked like it would be way too overwhelming for me, so I unjoined, after the contest was over.

LOVED that Budweiser colt and the song that accompanied the video.

Just wondering, do you deliberately post "fluffy" stuff to put people off replying?
If so, it seems to work...sadly... :(

Well, count me out on those days, Athnuachan... but, did you see the video and listen to the song?
Maybe you could think of it as a 'football' discussion of sorts ;-) ~ an intelligent person can always take fluff and turn it to where intelligent commentary can be the result. As for me, though, too much personal stress at the moment, so I just fluff it :D . Feels better that way :)
