Re Hop Farm being difficult to get to, it's only 15 miles from the M25, so pretty easy for anyone travelling by car from London.

I live in Essex and have taken my son for a day out at Hop Farm in the past. I think it'll be a nicer venue than Weybridge. If the weather comes up trumps then it'll be better than somewhere like the dreaded O2 arena. ;-)

Looks like Hop Farm will be the UK exclusive for a lot of artists.

AEG has not confirmed the concert. They have not given us any presale links.
The last email earlier tonight made it clear that AEG has not yet authorized
this concert to be announced.
I will check the emails again around 9 am to see if more information¨
has arrived. If not, there is nothing we can do. I will be offline
for most of the day tomorrow. Those who want presale tickets to this
concert should check this thread often tomorrow.

Morning.

Any news :)

I just rang eventim and they tell me that the concert has been confirmed and they will be selling tickets tomorrow from 9 am...
So it is strange that no confirmation is getting through to the forum, :? about any presale today, which eventim believe to be taking place from now...???
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you'll trust him

I have decided against this as it's just before Dublin, which is quicker and easier to get to, from where I live, only half an hour's drive from Cardiff airport. If I wanted to see two concerts it would make much more sense to see two in Dublin. But, I am regretful. Out of the six LC concerts I went to in 2008/9, five were outdoors (3x Kilmainham, one Spanish festival, and The Big Chill Festival), and all excelled the one indoor, in Cardiff. The Big Chill was out of this world (as was Glastonbury, by all accounts), and were I going I would definitely opt for a standing ticket (assuming standing means standing closer to the stage than those seated, which normally it does). The weather can be bothersome, but it can also add something special. Go on, John Etherington, you might be surprised. I hope all who go, enjoy:-)

How? Just rung eventim and they say that a link should have been sent for the presale - not selling tickets online or by phone generally until tomorrow

I have Row A too, which sounds good, but Seat 87, which I'm not so confident about.

I thought I had a good seat in Dublin and it turned out to be way off to one side. I'd rather be central and back a few rows than right at the front and on the side. Shame there wasn't a seating plan before ordering.

That was just the Eventim link from the 'Day at the Hop Farm' page.

I just looked on there are 9am and the status had changed to tickets available. I had registered my detaild with eventim yesterday to make the checkout quicker.

I see the was a mini seating plan but I could not get it to load - will try that again later.

Fingers crossed for a beautiful sunny day :D
