I came here to post this information too but you beat me to it Hartmut! I didn't realise it would be "Live in Fredericton" when I read it in this morning's Ottawa Citizen. What a treat!

I wonder if non-Canadians can download it if you go into your iTunes account and change the country (Store, View Account, Change Country or Region).

Mary I tried to change my ITunes account to Canada and it wouldn't let me. I would have to set up a new account.
So it doesn't work from the US.

Yep, you can't do that. I tried now, it says that my postal code is not Canadian, that my Visa credit number is not Canadian etc. .......

It's worse than that: I have a mailing address in Ottawa and a VPN that routes via Ottawa (so I appear to the iTunes store as if I'm connecting from there) but without a Canadian credit card you just can't get a Canadian iTunes account...

The Fredericton live stuff is limited to Canadians and iTunes only, and only 24 hours. There are no plans to release it in the usual way.

Sony will be switching the song on the splash page on Leonard Cohen.com from “Show Me The Place” to “The Darkness” next Wednesday. “The Darkness” is also going to be played on the radio that day in Canada and the US.
