Post by Goldin »

I said "new", because there are no mentions - on LC Files or anywhere* on the Forum.
* Simon from Montréal has found Adria's book in 2006, but it was ignored by everyone

1. Marco Adria

2nd part - Chapter and Verse: Leonard Cohen (p. 27-42) -
is ENTIRELY available on Google Books.

2. R. Bruce Elder
A Body of Vision: Representations of the Body in Recent Films and Poetry (1997)
2 articles:
a) Second Digression: A Mystical View of the Body under the Pervasive Influence of Gnosticism - Laying the Groundwork for Leonard Cohen's Writings on the Body and Carolee Schneemann's Films and Performances (p. 191-209)
- is partly available;
b) Leonard Cohen's Gnosticism and Its Influence on His Conception of the Body (p. 210-222)
- is AVAILABLE (only p. 216 is missing) on Google Books.

3. Michael Greenstein
Leonard Cohen
// Holocaust Literature: An Encyclopedia of Writers and Their Work. Vol. 1. N.Y., 2003. P. 244-247.
The ENTIRE article is available on Google Books.

4. Laurenz Volkmann

Most of the pages are available on Google Books.

5. Ian Rae
From Cohen to Carson: The Poet's Novel in Canada (2008)
2nd chapter - Leonard Cohen: (Un)framing Narrative (p. 41-90, or 91) -
is partly available on Google Books.

Plus:
Don't forget about the recent book "Apocalypse Jukebox: The End of the World" (someone tried to discuss it without reading here on the Forum).
You can read the ENTIRE chapter "Leonard Cohen: Sacred Soul, Profane Flesh" (p. 129-153).
