leonard with a beard

Post by kleinschmidt »

(after seeing the pictures at http://www.dearheather.com)
Leonard with a full beard, how sweet it is.
Man does he look good, and he is 70, it's hard to believe. I don't think any woman would turn him down, I know i wouldn't.

I think he looks gorgeous too. He has a slight look of Sean Connery.

I hadn't considered that, Paula. I just thought of him as a very lovely Leonard 8) , but you're right ~ there is a kind of Sean resemblance going on there.

Yes, Leonard looks swell. But I couldn't help but be struck by the first photograph. The one where he is sitting at his computer desk. I bet he is the only person (male or female) in the universe who has a mirror by his computer. Vanity thy name is Leonard!

P.S. Please, don't rush to his defense with the explanation that he is drawing another self portrait.

A mirror by his computer, Midnight? What am I missing? Where is it? I see his image on the computer ~ to me, obviously for the sake of the photo, but where do you see a mirror? And, if there is one, it's funny that you 'eliminated' the self-portrait reason. That hadn't even occurred to me  !

Kathleen ~ If you're under 25, please contact Leonard immediately   . [Just lookin' out for ya', Leonard  .]

The mirror is to the right of the computer...near the carpet he is using for a mouse pad. I gotta have one of those. I'm also going to run out and get one of those phones with the huge numerals.

Yes, I noticed the large-numeral phone right away, as well as the rug [prayer rug? or just oriental rug?] mousepad. However, the mirror, I need to go look AGAIN for.

Aha! You Super Sleuth! I see it now. Well, now, you can't really discount the self-portrait.....as you get older, you'll realize that looking down into a mirror does not make for the most flattering perspective.....and you'll recall how unflattering some [perhaps even you?] have claimed his self-portraits to be  !

the mouse pad is definitely a prayer mat, I have one very like it as a souvenir of a foreign holiday. I can't see any mirror  the thing on the desk is a drawing pad linked to the computer to produce pictures on the screen.

I like the beard too. :)

[Tee-Hee, Margaret] ~ Finding the mirror is sorta like one of those visual-trick exerises where you stare at the one picture until the other one emerges. Once you see the mirror, however, you can't miss it!

Maybe it's because it's for Leonard's pet that lives near his computer, the one that's become like part of the family ~ that mouse he's had for awhile; and you know, "The family that prays together, stays together." :D

If he goes scampering off, in the middle of the night, to find "Who Moved My Cheese" ~ just as Leonard gets inspired ~ it could end up a loss for all of us  . He needs him to stick around. Better to just go ahead and invest in a prayer rug  .

This way, the little guy can just stay at home and pray about it, meditation style, after all, it is Leonard's mouse ~ ["Who moved my cheese, who moved my cheese, who moved my cheese"] ~ and lie in position, waiting for the miracle, I mean answer, to come ~ whilst Leonard goes on uninterrupted.

Thank heaven someone thought to make them that size. "Dear Heather" may never have made it onto our horizon  [an inspired invention, obviously  ]. Now, everybody, down on your rug.

Been to have a look.
My prayer mats a lot bigger than that, it's alongside my bed. Spotted the mirror and the phone ( any points for that) did anyone notice that small bottle just to the left of his glasses, my first thought was that it's a bottle of tippex should we let him know there's a delete button on the pc, he's going to muck up his monitor with that stuff!!

I thought it was a dauber...the big markers old people use when they play bingo.

I must say I am impressed with how neat the desk is. Everything is laid out with great precision. Where is the clutter? Where is the ashtray with the smoldering butts? I wonder how much time he spends in the morning arranging everything just so. Even the cables are tied up nicely.

Lizzytysh have you spotted the calendar? 10 points.

What do you mean, where's the clutter? The monitor's covered in post-it notes!

Can anyone make out what that long thing at the back of the keyboard is? I'm wondering if it could be an incense holder / ash catcher. There's something that looks a lot like a joss stick angled up at the left-hand end of it.
