Want to buy or download The Future radio special CD

Hi, all, my first post here and thanks to Jarkko for suggesting I do so.

I really want a copy of the The Future Radio Special disc, if anyone has one available to sell or trade.

Also/instead, would anyone be willing to upload the special to a file-sharing site? I don't think it would constitute piracy as there are only song samples, not full songs on it -- and apparently neither does Jarkko since he suggested I post this request here! :^)

I have a blog therarestuff.blogspot.com on which I share (obviously) rare items and have begun sharing a bunch of such radio specials (Dylan, Springsteen, more on the way) and would especially love to be able to add this to the list if someone could make it available to me online.

But I'd also love to add the physical CD to my collection! I know it's hard to find but if anyone has one they'd want to part with, please let me know by pm here or direct email to jeffrosongshow AT aol DOT com. Thanks!

OK coolcohen, so if you bought two, do you want to sell me one? : )

Or else, could you please upload it to the web, to share with others? It's easy. First you have to compress the audio files from the CD into a .zip or .rar file.

Then go to a free file hosting site like mediafire.com or megaupload.com and follow the instructions there for uploading a file, and do so with the zip or rar you made.

Once it's uploaded, the site will give you a URL that you can share with others to download the file, and you can post that here. And on your own blog if you wish!

I would really appreciate your generosity in sharing this rare recording with your fellow LC fans! : )

I managed to download The Future radio special from Dime.

Here is the info text:

Canadian radio promo interview pre-fm from CD; scans included.

First three tracks (track 1 on the CD) contain an interview by Bob Mackowycz; official music has been deleted.
Tracks 04 -> 17 each contain Mr. Cohen's reply, taken from the interview text, to the appropriate question as given in the scan.
This allows a radio personality (or you!) to conduct their own interview. The interviewer repeatedly refers to Mr. Cohen as
'Leonard'. I know from personal experience that Mr. Cohen dislikes that.
The sound is not perfect. There is the occasional 'bubble' which is also found on the CD.
Excellent questions and very informative replies make this one of the very best Cohen interviews. Enjoy.
Preparing this post also reminded me of what a superb album 'The Future' is. Get yours out
and have a listen then fill in the deletions. Or purchase it today!
