Ghent nametags: info and subscriptions

Anyone got any ideas about finding cheap overnight accommodation in Ghent for 22nd August not a million miles from either the venue or the pre and post meet up place,which looks like it will be de Gruut??

I am driving so this is a slight complication as I have to park it somehere and have never been to Ghent before. So perhaps the centre of the city would not be great as there may be lots of parking restrictions.

Any help would be highly valued!!

You can search on location and you will discover a lot of B&B with private parking (e.g. Het Kouterhof...)
