Pre and/or aftershow meet up in Berlin - August 18

Hi Christel, thank you so much for all the useful information you have given us. Where will our ticket for public transportation be valid from? I think we will be staying in Charlottenburg so will our ticket cover that? Also, what time do you think we should leave there to get to the concert in good time?

not crystal again. sorry!
underneath the line "event" on the right hand' s side of your ticket there is the sign "vbb". that' s the name of the berlin(and brandenburg)traffic society. the small writings aside of that very symbol tell you, that the ticket works as a valid ticket for sbahn, ubahn, most bus lines and even some regional trains within berlin(region abc) from two hours before opening time at the venue till 3am on the next day.
so much for the question if you can use the ticket - you can!
when? well, the concert is supposed to begin at 6.30, let's say that opening time at waldbuehne is about two hours earlier than that? i don't know!

maybe crystal knows better!

Just to let you know: Today I had an email from eventim. They operate Waldbühne. This email said they let you in approx. one hour before the concert starts.
"Der Einlass erfolgt ca. 1 Stunde vor Beginn der Veranstaltung."

I just phoned with www.semmel.de, the organisator of the berlin concert.
Opening time is around 4.30 pm.
Hope we all have a good time there and rain stops until next wednesday...

As we will have to head for the Waldbuehne quite early, there might not be much time for a pre-show meetup.
However, if you would like to have a nice lunch or coffee & cake before the concert, we could meet at the Literaturhaus Café in Fasanenstraße, Charlottenburg (just around the corner from the Kudamm).
Will be there at about 12:30 on the day.

Tomorrow is the last day I'm online before the concert, hope to see some of you in Berlin !

sadly I won't be able to make it before the show to the Literaturhaus although I am only 250 m away. But since my boss is on holiday I hardly dare to leave the office before 4.30. I wish you a wonderful time and see you all in front of the stage!!!!

I'm not sure that we will be able to make the pre-show meetup as we are only in Berlin for a short time and have lots we would like to do! What time will you leave Charlottenburg to go to the concert and will you be using public transport, if so what route will you take?

I hope you all really enjoy the concert, am really looking forward to it.

Lol, I can't imagine so many Cohen concerts, you must be on a permanent high! I'm dizzy even with all that has been happening in the past week. It will be just great meeting you again!

what time are you all going to start queueing? I know doors open at 4:30pm but I'm just wondering how much in advance you have to be there if you want to sit close to the stage I know the place is huge, I've never been in there though.
