Just reading the new tour book I picked up last night in Arena Zagreb - 2010 European tour dates include "Galicia, Spain - September 11, 2010 Plaza De Obradoiro".

Pero la plaza de Obradoiro está en Santiago de Compostela! No en Orense.

The concerts are usually confirmed by AEG after all details have been nailed, contracts signed, etc. Anyway, I emailed my contact at AEG to get latest news.

Negotiations have been made for a concert IN SANTIAGO(as we gather from the tour book). However, the event is widely promoted in Spain and Portugal as a concert in OURENSE. No wonder that details are difficult to nail here

I don't think you can read too much in to the details in the tour book. It simply notes the intentions at the time the book went to press. The Valencia concert last September was never formally announced here or by AEG. We found out about it when Ticketmaster Spain put the tickets on sale. Interestingly, the Summer 2009 tour book included a concert in Valencia on September 18 but at a totally different venue. As I understand it, they will only confirm a show after they have thoroughly checked the venue and are happy with all the details, the major issue being to make sure that the sound / acoustics meet Leonard's high standards.

Hello everyone,

The thing about this concert is that it is not organized by their usual Spanish promoters, but by local politicians. According to the local press, a money agreement has been made between political parties for a concert in Ourense. That´s why it has to be there.

Please note that the information posted here from and by Spanish media is premature.
We have to wait for official update to the tour itinerary with confirmed new dates.
We may expect it within a week or so.

Premature an information of the organizers of the concert? There is no only a source of information. So much secret is boring

Premature information has been made public during this tour several times by local organizers. Some of those concerts have not happened at all, some have but on different dates, and some have later been confirmed by AEG Live, after all open issues have been settled.
I am adding new concerts to the list only after getting them 100% verified by AEG. This way members will not be disappointed if a concert is removed from tentative plans.
In this case Spanish members have just to be patient a bit longer, and wait for final details. Meanwhile, don't make any travel plans based on the date mentioned above in this thread!

Please note that today we have got a concert confirmed in Lisboa, Portugal, for September 10. It is likely that September 11 will be day off (this is just my opinion, NOT based on confirmed information). Let's see what happens with the next date(s)

Ha sido muy raro. O ha estado muy mal gestionado, o ha habido intereses ocultos.
Antes de todo, gracias juanl por la información.
Yo salvé (ese mismo día 12) 2 entradas en la grada después de 20 o 30 intentos, a través de caixagalicia, donde ya se habían agotado el 90% del total. Sin embargo, a El Corte Inglés todavía le quedaban en las zonas A y B (y al parecer, en gran cantidad ) pero por alguna razón absurda no te dejaba comprarlas.
Y si alguien se pregunta adonde habían ido a parar aquel 90% que se evaporó en 5 minutos, google te daba la solución: se estaban vendiendo en ticketbis al triple de precio.
