How many concerts have LC played, and how many is scheduled (in total)?

Re: Question about stats
Here's a start for you.
After removing the cancelled concert in Valencia from the 2008-9 tours page -- I can count 190 dates in the year and a half from 11-May-08 to 13-Nov-09.
The number of different venues is a little less. For example, he played the Olympia in Paris on three dates: 24, 25, 26-Nov-08
As to the number of countries on that page - I get 29 of them - but I counted all the concerts in England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland as only one country to do that (UK).

Re: Question about stats
I have placed placemarks in Google Earth on every city and every venue where Leonard has given a concert. I counted until now 192 concerts in 133 different cities in 27 different countries. I didn't count Valencia, because that was cancelled. And I counted England, Northern-Ireland and Scotland as one (United Kingdom).
If everything goes well (and I hope it will) by the end of 2010 Leonard will have given 235 concerts in 163 different cities in 30 different countries. At least, because I have the impression that the schedule isn't complete yet.
Is that a new record?

Re: Question about stats
The info I got from Leonard's management recently was: 195 shows so far, 780,000 directly sold tickets (Leonard Cohen only show), but with the festivals (Glastonbury, Big Chill, Coachella, Benicassim), and Israel (Tel Aviv charity concert), the attendance is about 1,1 million people.
In Glastonbury, Leonard was probably seen & listened to by 120,000 people, and in Tel Aviv more than 50,000.

Re: Question about stats
Bob Dylan of course has been on the "Never Ending Tour" since 1867, or something like that. I don't know why it's a Never Ending Tour. I keep on asking my husband but he can't give me any reason that makes sense other than it saves the bother of having to think of a name for each part of the tour. I don't suppose it's to have the record for the longest ever tour but I suspect it may give Dylan the record???
