He will also bale out Greece and cancel all Greek debt by the sale of his house on Hydra and allocating a portion of the ticket sales on the neverending tour to the hellenic rather than the LC pension fund. Do we take our own sandwiches on the bus?

Annemary,
The BIG ads. now in the" Irish Times" describe it as a "seated concert".
Agree that nobody knows yet what seating plan will be.
Lots of new people signing on, which is great. I suppose the best advice for new arrivals is to scroll back first to the BEGINNING of this thread, where Jarkko the web master with the patience of a saint posts his messages, and where the pre-sale link will be tomorrow. Then read the rest of the thread !

When LC is finished sorting out the Greek debt we can get him to make sure Tipp win the all-Ireland.
The cheap seats will be at the back and the dear ones at the front.

Sceachgeal says : "the cheap seats will be at the back and the dear ones at the front". How right you are !
(Or...cheaper? )
Thanks for your "inside information " about Westlife. Maybe Leonard is the only gig in town ! Could we be so lucky... I am not at all interested in Westlife, but I do have friends who will be working on Saturday, but who could possibly get to a LC concert on Sunday, if there was one. ( the country doesn't close down for four days as some of our friends abroad seem to think; Monday is the only extra day off).
Love the name, Whitethorn!

Gosh this is great, am a bit of a newbe to the forum, but a converted fan
since the odyssey concert...hope to god I can figure this out, thanks for the help!

Re: PRESALE to SLIGO on April 24-26
Thanks folks, I didn't realise there has never been a concert there before and of course it's obvious the dearer the seat the closer to stage/better view etc
I was just concerned about restricted views etc if there is going to be a marquee or will it be fully outdoors

Aine as Tiobrad Arann: Gurabh maith agat, ‘sceach’ is ainm an baile fearainn ina bfhuil me ag conaí. And, particularly at this time of the year, the hedgerows are abundantly covered in whitethorn.
I would guess that when you get onto the Ticketmaster website tomorrow they will have a seating plan but that is obviously not great for us forward planners. My visualisation is that there will be rows of flat seating at the front with staged seating at the rear a la Kilmainham 2008 but as with so many things I will probably be proved totally wrong.

Also all visitors to outdoor concerts in Ireland or the UK should bring WET WEATHER GEAR.
Bear in mind that many Glastonbury goers year before last ended up with 'trench' foot, and in Ireland if your can see the racehorses' ears the official going is 'Good'.

Re: PRESALE to SLIGO on April 24-26
All this talk about seating - i'll just be so glad to get a ticket so I can see him again. My stomach is in bits - is there any chance of us not getting a ticket tomorrow at all. That's all I'm worried about. Dunno how I'm gonna last until July. Hubby is ready to kill me at this stage and tickets aren't even bought. Imagine when i GET THEM!!!! Dance me to the end of love.......... Hapy days
