No.

Only credit is Simon Catwell for "2009 update" of the "original cover design by Les May (for CBS Records)".

My short review at Amazon.co.uk:

Outrageous!

5 Aug 2009

By tomsak (Europe) - See all my reviews

Made by Sony company of UK, without involvement of Leonard Cohen or his manager's office, this is outrageous re-packing of 1975 Best Of LP (known in Europe as Greatest Hits). Not only it's ridiculous in packing, but one of the best Cohen songs, Waiting for the Miracle, is cut off in half (at 3:24 instead of 7:42), after 3rd verse, and there's also major drop out at the beginning of the song, with two lines omitted in the first verse (what sounds like your CD skipped but it's there on the record).

Outrageous and shameful way of making money of Cohen's recent popularity.

Thank you for the information. From the description others have posted, my guess is that the truncated Waiting For The Miracle is actually the edited version from the Natural Born Killers soundtrack.

Yeah this is the Natural Born Killers edited version.

The reason they have included this I'm guessing, is because the CD length is 77 minutes and the full version is over four minutes longer than the edit, which would take the length of the CD to over its maximum capacity (80 minutes).

It seems that Sony Germany has different cover (for the EU market?).

Released September 2009 (for the birthday), and there's TV clip on Amazon Deutschland: http://www.amazon.de/Greatest-Hits-Leon ... 264&sr=8-3

It's also my favourite; it was originally used for 2001 single:

and (reversed) for free Polish single in 2002:
