I read your Joan of Arc poem. It was rather frightening. Poor Joanie...dust??? She was Sinead O'Connor's wantabe saint to hold one's hand and Agnthea, ABBA's Frida in disquise when Agnetha went missing once. "It's okay! Frida had on her makeup, blonde wig and Joan of Arc outfit. "I will find you." Two poets...two different visons...it must be the man...woman thing. My poems??? I did Anna (Anastatia) with poetry.com. Different wedding...love...friend thing...no fire..no ashes. Carry on.

Re: Joan of Arc
I read somewhere that a great art has a combination of severity and sweetness, and LC's songs/poems indeed has this combination. This particular poem has much severity.
You may hear LC singing this poem in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSCZU1OtL1k . The lyrics are there too.

Re: Joan of Arc
is it possible that leonard IS jeanne d'arc - reincarnated?! : they share some character traits!
this thought came to me while listening to a radio documentary on joan.
leonard song features 2 minutes into programme - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qsr0 - audio online for 7 days.

Re: Joan of Arc
The next thing you'll have is....someone coming up and thanking Joan of Arc for burning, without which we would not have LC's famous song.
Sounds awful.

Re: Joan of Arc
I suspect there are so many reincarnated Joan of Arcs, that they probably have their own society!
