Dancing

Post by George.Wright »

Dance me to the twirl
Dance me to the swirl
Dance me to the whirlish
Dance me to the crazy routines of the dervish
Dance me to the andromena galaxy
Dance me to the voice of mediocrity
Dance me under the tables
Dance me to the virgin birth stables
Dance me to the right
Dance me to the dawn at the death of the night
Dance me to the left
Dance me dying untill i'm out of breath
Dance me forwards or front
Dance me to the litter and the runt
Dance me backwards or back
Dance me to the spanish inqusition and the rack
Dance me pagan
Dance me to the horrors of Ronald Regan
Dance me to Thrace
Dance me to the horned goat and the mask on his face
Dance me time
Dance me to the end of the eternal bar line
Dance me to eternity
Dance me to the fabled sunken city
Dance me to the cross
Dance me to fate, self determination and the whole bloody loss
Dance me to drugs or dope
Dance me to altered states, hate , and the craving of hope
Dance all to love
and the potiental chance to reach the heavens above
and follow the eternal path of the holy white dove
and whilst dancing with all, remember the power of love
Georges

Didn't I say that? Well, I thanked you for't. Yes, I liked your poem. And I still do. :)

Actually I'm thinking of stealing your words and sing them. (Be glad you can't hear me...)

Dancing again

Post by Ben Kelly »

Dear George

I have been banished by the reactionaries for being a too much of a radical. and now only make comments on your poetry for my wicked behaviour. So on with the show this is it.

Dance with space
Be sure you can see the face
Dance the time
Give the reader a chance to see the rhyme
Dance a reel, a dance for three
Like the three muskateers there four of us as well, with me
Dance your dance trilogy
Reportage will be the one dimensional personal agony
Dance in poetry, be a poet
You've stood on my words, split the duet
Dance with even more space
Now the ideas and words live and breathe in this kinda place

Been reading the Sundays Times recently?

Your over-crowded poems days are numbered.

Nice change George
One theme is better than one theme too many

Cheers

Ben, your a perfect compliment with more bite than an extra strong mint.
A radical you shall forever be untill you had a chance meeting with me.
I don't read the Times, just the Dandy lines, and it shows, always on my soapbox for a little pose. The Bad Boys have chased the poets off this Board, they are such a devilish and circled Hoard. The poets shall however rebel and chase these devils right out of hell...................
