Leonard Cohen Classical Guitars With Straps.

I've noticed in many live performance videos of Leonard Cohen he is playing a classical guitar with a guitar strap, such as in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OjVU7_3_R0 . I was wondering if he modified his guitars that way himself or if he bought a kind that already has a strap button. I ask because I was thinking of getting a strap button drilled into my classical guitar but many people advise against it, but I always think Leonard's guitars sound great.

Guitars are never meant to be altered after it's making. If you drill a strap hole chances are you'll strain the sound effect.

I understand that. I was asking how Leonard's guitars have the strap. I don't believe any classical guitars are sold with the button on the end for the strap, so he must've drilled or something.
