You asked about Dublin and the 4 concerts (plus 1 in Belfast and 3 in Dublin June 08 where he started his European tour) - Leonard has always loved Dublin, a great city of poets and writers. At the last concert in Dublin he thanked his Irish fans for keeping his music alive during the past 40 years. A concert experience in Ireland is very different to anywhere else (and I can say this with certainty as I had the pleasure of seeing Leonard in the UK and Italy last year) - an Irish concert is an interactive experience and I am sure it must energise the artists who play here. Music, song and poetry sustained us through a long dark history and is very much alive in our folk memory, we love to sing.

I 2nd every word of what you say there! Leonard is amongst many who love playing here. The only person I can think off the top of my head that is the exception to this was Madonna. She only played here once & never returned. For such a small nation we are extremly lucky that most of the massive world stars play here. The only person alive that I really really want to see that I haven't yet is Stevie Wonder. Maybe Leonard will have a chat with him

Hi Paula,

Although I appreciate your response, I do think you're missing the point. I certainly am happy for all Irish fans who got to see Leonard so many times, but I'd very much like to see the same happening for the Israeli fans. As mentioned here and in other threads, the demand for tickets in Israel is enormous and - since LC is HaCohen HaGadol - his performance in Israel will be the utmost special event. G'd knows the Israeli's deserve another concert. Anyway, I won't be filling up a seat in Ramat Gan, I've been lucky to see LC 3 times in Europe. Although I'm sad for the Israeli's who didn't get tickets, I'm happy for my Israeli family who did.
