I nearly had a heart attack when I saw 2 threads in this sub forum! And it turned out to be spam

Greetings from the Roloi, Hydra!

Jarkko, when I was sightseeing in Berlin at the start of July, Angela Merkel sped by in a calvacade, followed by a car with the Finnish flag ... I didn't realise you were so important.

So the big announcement is going to be an official post for Jarkko in the Finnish Government!

Thank goodness for that. Just watched Tall Ships 2009 sail out of Halifax harbour. Tomorrow we leave the city (& hotel wi-fi) for the wilds of rural Cape Breton where internet access seems to depend upon prevailing winds & the whim of the gods!

It is cruelty itself to make a big announcement at the height of the holiday season!

If it’s not a live broadcast then maybe one of these :

- Nomination for an award. Hopefully there will be lot of noses put out of joint like when Jethro Tull robbed Metallica of their Grammy award. (PS There’s solo Ian Anderson shows in September).

- Guest mentor on American Idol. I don’t care what you say, Kelly Clarkson does rock. Plus you get to jump about at the shows.

- Duet song to be released by download only and we if all buy it then LC gets into the hit parade. Hopefully with Kelly !

- Induction into one of those clubs like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. More likely but more boring I think than my other ideas.

The BIG announcement is that Leonard is signing for Liverpool FC to partner Fernando Torres up front. Is there no end to his eternal youth?
i'm with you on that one! who needs David Silva when we can have Lenny up front -

i reckon Rafa saw the way LC skipped off stage at the Arena and snapped him up! that Rafa, what an eye for talent!

Mmmmm. There is a weeks gap in Leonard's schedule between Sept 4 and Sept 12. Plus, have just looked on the O2 website and there does not seem to be anything major going during that period! (spreads out credit cards on the table and sighs!)

***That's a break in the tour - they need to have some rest, too!
There are no plans for more concerts in UK, and the summer schedule is now
final and complete [except Tel Aviv that remains unconfirmed] / Jarkko***
That has actually taken some of the pressure off - thanks. Middle-aged ladies like me can't take the suspense! Suppose it is definite, then "There are no plans for more concerts in UK"? Just had a thought, the Channel Islands are outside the UK and EU and I just happen to be there soon. Well, I can dream and hope, can't I? :D

jarkko...
A word of thanks,

both my family and I attended the Dublin 02 concert last night , a very special night for all who attended, no point repeating what people have said here over and over... every song and moument unbeliveably memberable, I wanted to say thanks to the forum for arranging pre sale tickets to the event, namely yourself... to add to this wonderfull evening, on leaving the venue with my 11 year old son, we were called aside by a very kind lady, one of Leonard's staff, she handed my son a play list from the stage, were not sure which musician it belonged to, but we hope and pray it was Leonard....

Kind Regards to all
