Hi Flynote,

I like this (but don't get excited, I'm not qualified to critique); I've been coming back, re-reading it a few times.

You've changed it. I think I liked the first version better, although this version is slightly less cryptic. The style calls to mind Rap, which I don't pretend to understand at all...

Especially noticed (and enjoyed):

My heart breathes in so deep
It must be the cigar of Papa and Suzanne in the same mix

PS: There are some spelling errors – easily corrected with SpellCheck – you might want to fix... (majenta/magenta, mournfull/mournful... I think a couple more)

I love this piece - there are a couple of things in it which order you to come back and reread. I loved that you mentioned Basil whom we all know from FT. Pale is the new tan. This has surely not been written in a barn ... it must have been assembled on a posh desk that matches the acclaimed style of its author. Thank you, writer.

If the answer is no, then I am most impressed with your K-pacity for quick-witted coordination amongst them.
