Israel is not in Europe any more than Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, or Syria is. The Greek islands are in Europe. Cyprus is in Europe. Most people do not consider Turkey to be in Europe, even though a small portion of it is.

For the record, the southeastern border of Europe is the Bosphorous, and the northeastern border is the Urals.

Yep, but culturally, the countries surrounding Mediterranean are often thought as the part of Europe, although it can be geographically or politically incorrect.

There's an initiative for the Mediterranean union, and those countries are included, as well France, Italy, Croatia...

Would love to know if you have any thoughts or information as to the possibility that the concert in Israel really will be Leonard's last gig of this tour or at least the last this side of the Atlantic?? Would really appreciate your response. Thanks as always for your hard work and dedication to the forum members

As far as we know it will be the last concert of the Tour 2008-2009 in this area.
