[Ah, so I'm preaching to the choir, Darling... :) ~ and what a lovely way to arrive at such a beautiful city, and with that view 8) ~ ha. I was slimmer and could run much faster, then... it was all about making good time... "Run for the Roses" ~ what fun it was, too.

Thanks for the tourist office plug ;-) . Never know when you might need a job in this economy  .]

It's going to be getting mighty hot here by then. Wouldn't want Fred to suffer heat exhaustion after being in the colder climes all this time.

Oh, yes... Marie. It's indeed hard to imagine Fred being star struck at this point, given his daily fare of humans. I'm just pleased to see that it hasn't gone to his head. If he gets that fedora that MusicCityGypsy is working on, people may begin to wonder if he's trying to hide his [big] head, but hopefully they'll understand that he's not hiding anything; it's simply that he's become cool, very cool, ultra monkey cool. How many monkeys, after all, have [growing!] fan clubs? Well, Fred does 8) . Yep. Who'd have ever dreamt this Unified Hearts Tour would take such an unexpected twist with so many turns? Thank you from me, too.

I'd say Germany's is pretty liberal on the gay monkey marriage front :D :D , but hey lets' give the little guy (and the bigger looking guy or gal :D :D ) a chance to get acquainted first and see if there's any chemistry between them. :D , before they walk (if that's what monkeys do ) down the aisle. :D

Yeah, chemistry would be a good thing. We're really not trying to sentence you to 20 years of boredom, Fred. It's your life and your call.

I think they lope, don't they? As long as they don't add an e to that, I'll be fine. Just want to be one of the witnesses ;-) .

Hi Lizzy, Marie and all,

Yes! I agree totally. I think there can be an overdose of presenting "gifts" to Leonard related to various songs, but for some odd reason this little guy seems to have touched a happy chord in so many people. Not only those of us on the Forum, but with the band and crew. Just looking at Fred makes you smile :D He is indeed one cool monkey! I don't think Mary, on Apr 5th in Phoenix, had any idea of just how perfect her offering was!

Diana

ps...let's not be too hasty in marrying him off or hooking him up...then he might have to leave the Tour :(

Mmmm, you're right. Hadn't considered that  ... how dreadful is that thought!
Fred ~ You have plenty of time... a lot of monkeys in the trees... so take your time and choose well. See the world first. Remain chaste. Don't get lost in the sea of temptation offered on these tours. There will be many monkesses wanting to chatter you up; don't hesitate to go to Leonard for advice. We already know he chooses well and, if you get lost in choice, he may be able to help you sort. Mother Mary ~ any motherly advice to add? Auntie Lizzy may be getting a bit heavy-handed with our teenage Fred. He is about that, isn't he? Maybe late teens?

Yes... our little Fred has become real. Not just a stuffed... well, you know... he's special and he knows it; some pretty heady stuff, but so far, it's still not gone to his head 8) . His caretakers are keeping him down to earth and humble, as it oughta be. I do hope they find a spot where they can let him swing in a few trees, though. Every monkey needs that once in awhile.

Mary hit this one spot on, head on... no one would EVER have dreamed how this has gone.

No, no, no! Then I would have to go out and get some matronly mother-of-the-groom dress - I hate matronly! And I would then have to get together with the bride's family to make sure that the bride's father is presentable enough when he lopes her down the aisle. Then there are all those decisions - Fred in a fedora or top hat? Too much thinking  . Fred is in good hands.
Stay as you are Fred. Enjoy the tour and your moment in the sun.

Loving regards,
Mother Mary

Absolutely, Mary... you should not do matronly! And that's a real toughie... fedora or top hat. You're right. Forget decisions.
. . . when he lopes her down the aisle.

Actually, if Fred is to find a friend in his travels, perhaps it oughta come from his European contingency, anyway... and, if it's to be at all... a little spice in his life won't hurt a thing and there's plenty of that in those Euro-Monkeys. We've already seen that little Cologne babe 8) .

Indeed! ;-)
We should just make sure that Fred keeps away from Byron's avatar; if Fred appears a little stoned to some people even now and if you have a look at that strange bear in Byron's profile, you will probably agree that he might not be the best company for our Freddy!

More than a day and a half and no sightings of Fred  ! Could we have missed a clue in his last photo :o ? Could Fred's friend's phone or camera batteries need to be charged/replaced?
I miss you Fred  !

Loving regards,
Mother Mary

FYI Cara, Fred's hat size is approx. 8 1/2" (I think)

I doubt there is much excitement for a little monkey in Winnipeg, so I'm sure he was simply "monkeying" away the time while zipped up in his sweats to keep warm, and swigging back a banana daquiri 8)

No, no Mary. Our little Fred knows how to handle his banana cocktails ;-) . At least I hope so...... You're right, perhaps another picture would help!
