Wait a minute! You're on the bus and not the plane?! Hmm, well, I guess that's okay ...you get to see a lot of beautiful scenery along the way....except when you're napping! I know the concerts end late and you need some time to loosen up and relax afterwards, but make sure you get your proper sleep. Did you fly to Edmonton? The bus trip must have been very very long. Keep warm. Spring comes late up in that territory. I see that some members of the band and crew went to the Gap in Edmonton. Did they also buy you a little jacket? Or are you just cuddlin' up to your "new" friend for warmth?

Missed your last photo! That is SO cute. I'm sure the bus driver is happy to have you helping him!

You know Fred, I have mixed feelings about this European tour. Your Mom and I would really REALLY love to see you for a few minutes at Red Rocks and give you a little hug. Perhaps if your "person" might agree to that we could send you winging your way to Europe happily! I know that you are gathering more fans all the time from the other side of the Atlantic. My goodness, people from England, Prague, Greece and all over seem to know who you are and like you! But who couldn't like you...you little monkey

I know your passport must be in order since you're in Canada, so I would say yes! It would be a once-in-a-monkeys lifetime experience to see all the wonderful places in Europe! In fact, I would love to come with you and chaperone you but I'm sure you will be in good hands....as you are now!

Perhaps we will have to get you some clothes for the adventure!

AWWwwwwwww, Freeeeeeeed... sleep little monkey, don't you cry... mama's going to see you by and by. You look so sweet up on the dash. That hand with the middle-finger ring... was he tickling you? Better not be poking you or he's going to have a haggle of humans to deal with... !!

Onward and upward onto that plane to carry you away to Europe I say. Who could deprive you... who could even think of depriving you... such a marvelous trip. So many places to see, so many things to do, so many people to meet. [Fred... don't you worry, sweetheart... you're going to Europe. No need to swing about the bus thinking you're about to be chucked Stateside. Plenty of time for that ~ AFTER the tour. Mother Mary, Aunt Di, and Auntie Lizzie ~ and a whole lot of others ~ will take care of it. You just enjoy the scenery and have a good time. No little monkey should have to worry about such things. I know those humans want a cultured monkey, anyway... and, Fred, Europe is brimful of it. You deserve this.]

Fred Monkey, you are such a cutie. I bet the girls love to give you hugs. But it is good to see you are just one of the boys too. Guess Roscoe has you practicing hard because you are never without your violin. We know you are destine for stardom so we hope your parents will give you permission to go to Europe to swing with the band. You band buddies are wonderful to help you share your journey with us. It was a long bus ride with an early morning border crossing to Seattle the other day so I got some rest. My "friend" who types for me was getting ready to post some more photos last night but he fell asleep!

Just remember, no carousing until dawn or you will miss out on all the wonders of the Europe and Israel. Stay awake when it counts and don't forget to send us pictures of all you see .

Fred you have to continue the tour I have tickets to Weybridge and Liverpool I only got them because I thought I might see you. Get your mates to put you in one of their bags so you don't have to go into quarantine for rabies and Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt. Europe awaits.

Haha, Paula... here I thought we had another photo of Fred and the COLOURFUL tour bus... but, it can't hurt to remind our little Fred that he need not worry about what happens to the Social Security situation here in the U.S. ~ he will always be able to make his way.

I hope we can count on you, too, to give us news of any Fred-Monkey Sightings in Europe. And you have tickets to TWO more shows!?! I guess I could, too, if Leonard would ever come to Florida . Keeping him out of quarantine is crucial. They can be there for months, I understand, and that will simply never do.

I looked for Fred in Calgary. He was nowhere to be found... I quizzed Charley Webb about Fred's whereabouts before the show but she clammed up, claiming she had been sworn to secrecy...
