should Leonard have a rest?

Post by ycarts »

I watched the new DVD and Leonard looks very frail....I hope no one is pushing him to continue.

It's true that Leonard looks a little frail, but he is 74 years old! I don't think he'd be skipping on and of of the stage, if he was lacking in energy. Also (as a double Virgo) I think he'd stop performing if he felt his performance was aything less than his very best. He certainly can't be doing it for the money anymore, because he recently made a generous donation to the Australian fire fund.

All good things, John E

He's probably a little bit better off now than immediately after his bank account had been emptied, but touring costs quite a lot as well. I truly hope he's recuperating what he had put aside for his pension, plus some extra. Nobody deserves it more than he. As for his donation, I believe he has privately done such things several times, even when his economy was poor.
