Tickets to the Victoria show, April 21, 2009

Hi. Not only am I new to this forum, I have never been on a forum of any kind before. I am very motivated, however, because I MUST obtain at least two tickets to Leonard's Victoria show on April 21st. My daughter fell in love with his writing and music when she was in Grade 8. April 21st is her 28th birthday, and she is coming home from China (where she is studying Mandarin) just to attend this concert with me. I don't generally attend big concerts or buy tickets to them, so I'm requesting information from anyone who can guide me in this matter. I hear horror stories about scalpers buying everything within the first few minutes. How can I be sure to get good tickets? Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Howdy. Must say, I'm cheering for you. And your on the right track. As a member of this forum, tomorrow at 10:00, presale, should be scalper-free. It's all well worth the trouble, I greatly enjoyed his Ireland concert last June. Best of luck. - CL.

I'm in Victoria too - can't believe he's actually coming to us!!! I don't know what I'll do if I can't get tickets - I've been listening to Leonard Cohen over 30 years and love his songs as much today as I did way back then! I'm not very knowledgeable about forums either and not sure where to look tomorrow for the presale.....but I am determined. Good Luck!!

I'm not sure but this looks like the booking site you will be using:

You might find it worth setting up an account now so you have less typing to do under pressure tomorrow. You could even try a dry run with one of the other events. Cancelling before you pay for the tickets
